Extraordinary Faculties of the Roman Rota, Unofficial Translation

Procedural Guidelines for the Modification of Parishes, the Closure or Relegation of Churches to Profane but not Sordid Use, and the Alienation of the Same During the Society’s recent trip to Rome, Fr. Edward Lohse shared with the CLSA delegates this document and accompanying letter, which was sent to diocesan bishops. With the Congregation’s permission, we are making these materials available online to the membership. The materials will also be published in Roman Replies and Advisory Opinions 2013.

Rotal Sentences and Decrees – English translations of Rotal Sentences and Decrees by Reverend Augustine Mendonça, JCD, are available to members for downloading. The Sentences and Decrees have been translated and published with permission of the Dean of the Roman Rota. The CLSA is most grateful to Rev. Mendonça for his generosity in sharing the English translations with the Society and for this invaluable service to our membership.

Future Initiatives Project – the final report of the Future Initiatives Project; the committee was mandated to 1) Review the seven stated purposes of our Society contained in Article II of the CLSA Constitution and (2) Propose actions and strategies for the revitalization of the Society in light of these stated purposes for the next three to five years.
