Margaret Anne Ramsden, SFCC – a member of the Sisters for Christian Community, and a long-time member of the Canon Law Society of America – entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
Sr. Peggy was the first recipient of the annual scholarship award granted by the Canon Law Society of America in 1990, and she received her licentiate in canon law in 1992 from Saint Paul University in Ottawa. Prior to earning her degree, she worked as a parish and staff advocate with the tribunal in the Diocese of San Diego, California, and from 1999 to 2016, she served as a judge in the tribunal of the Diocese of Orange, California. A faithful participant at the annual CLSA Convention, Sr. Peggy was a member of the Society for nearly forty years, and she had a smile and kind word for everyone she encountered.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with a vigil to follow at Brown’s Mortuary (204 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92706).
